Privacy Policy for Cryptogram

Cryptogram is a mobile puzzle game developed and published by Sira ("Sira", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Cryptogram.

Information Stored on Your Device

Cryptogram stores certain gameplay information locally on your device so that the game can function correctly. This may include:

• puzzle progress;
• solved quotes;
• difficulty and unlock progress;
• lives and hints;
• game settings and preferences; and
• purchase or entitlement state where applicable.

Gameplay information stored only on your device is not sent to Sira unless otherwise described in this policy. Removing the app or clearing its application data may permanently delete locally stored progress.

Advertising

Cryptogram may display advertising provided through third-party advertising services. We currently use Google AdMob and may use advertising partners made available through mediation, including Meta Audience Network and InMobi. Depending on your device, region, privacy choices and applicable law, advertising providers may process information such as:

• device or advertising identifiers;
• IP address;
• approximate location derived from your IP address;
• device type, operating system and language;
• app interactions;
• advertising interactions, such as impressions and clicks;
• diagnostic and performance information; and
• information used for fraud prevention, advertising measurement and ad delivery.

This information may be used to provide ads, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud and, where permitted and consented to, personalize advertising. Advertising providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable platform requirements.

Advertising Consent and Tracking

Where required by applicable law, Cryptogram may ask you to make choices about how advertising data is used. On Apple devices, certain forms of tracking may also require permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency system. Your available advertising and privacy controls may vary depending on your operating system, region and device settings. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent advertisements from being displayed. You may instead receive contextual or non-personalized advertising where supported.

In-App Purchases

Cryptogram may offer optional in-app purchases, such as hints or other game features. Payments are processed by the platform from which you obtained the app, such as Google Play or Apple's App Store. Sira does not receive your complete payment-card or banking information. The application may receive information necessary to verify a transaction, such as the product purchased, transaction status or purchase entitlement.

Support Communications

If you contact Sira for support, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as:

• your email address;
• the contents of your message;
• screenshots or diagnostic information you voluntarily provide; and
• information necessary to investigate your support request.

We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems and improve Cryptogram.

Third-Party Services

Cryptogram may use services provided by third parties, including:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads;
• Meta Audience Network;
• InMobi;
• Google Play services; and
• Apple services.

These providers may independently process information according to their respective privacy policies.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Cryptogram does not require you to create a Sira account. The app does not intentionally require access to your:

• contacts;
• photos or media library;
• microphone;
• precise physical location; or
• private messages.

If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

Data Retention

Gameplay data stored locally remains on your device until it is deleted by the application, you clear the application's data, or you uninstall the application. Information sent to Sira through a support request may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations. Information processed independently by advertising, payment or platform providers is subject to the retention policies of those providers.

Data Deletion

Because Cryptogram does not currently require a user account, Sira does not maintain an account profile that needs to be deleted. You can delete locally stored Cryptogram data by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling the application. If you have contacted us and would like personal information contained in your support correspondence deleted, contact us using the information below.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by Sira. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's Privacy

Cryptogram is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Advertising and platform services may apply additional protections based on applicable laws, age information provided to the platform and regional requirements.

International Processing

Third-party service providers used by Cryptogram may process information in countries other than the country in which you live. Their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw certain forms of consent. You may contact Sira regarding information directly controlled by Sira. For information controlled independently by an advertising or platform provider, requests may need to be made directly to that provider.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Cryptogram changes or as legal and platform requirements evolve. When we make changes, the updated policy will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
